Rick Crimmel > I decided to start with this guy, because it was one of the most amazing things we saw there. After he stripped down to his speedo, he slowly walked into the water, eventually ducked completely under, walked back out and then did it over again. The trails in the park had ice in many areas, so you can imagine how cold the water was. Not sure what he had in his veins. What was really amazing was he never looked like he was cold. We started shivering just watching him. To see more, go to: http://www.rickcrimmel.com/Canada/Vancouver-BC/Christmas-2009-in-Vancouver-BC/10811158_H7AEJ#753995633_wzrVj

Rick Crimmel > Ruins of St. Thomas School. -- St. Thomas, Nevada, founded by Mormon settlers, is now a ghost town in Clark County, Nevada. Near to where the Muddy River flows into the Colorado River, St. Thomas was purchased by the Federal Government and abandoned as the waters of Lake Mead submerged the town. It is now located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Since the lake has receded in recent years, St. Thomas is now ( 2007/2008) visible.
